TCI, a subsidiary of Turkish Airlines, has unveiled its next-generation in-flight entertainment system ‘Cornea’, at the Aircraft Interiors Expo in Hamburg.
TCI Aircraft Interiors has officially launched Cornea, its new-generation In-Flight Entertainment (IFE) system, at the Aircraft Interiors Expo (AIX) held in Hamburg, Germany. The unveiling represents a major milestone for the Turkish company, marking a significant leap in IFE innovation by combining state-of-the-art technology with user-centric design and seamless functionality.
Engineered to enhance passenger experience in both Business and Economy Class, Cornea offers high-resolution visuals, premium sound quality, and intuitive controls. “Our mission has always been to enhance the passenger experience through thoughtful design and advanced technology,” said Müjdat Uludağ, CEO of TCI Aircraft Interiors. “Today, we are not just unveiling a new in-flight entertainment system — we are providing airlines with a powerful new resource in a supply chain environment still recovering from the pandemic. Combined with our in-house seat designs, Cornea will be certified and delivered swiftly.”
Cornea deliveries to begin with Turkish Airlines in 2026
The first deliveries of Cornea are scheduled for the second half of 2026, initially as part of Turkish Airlines’ retrofit programs. The IFE system will be certified together with TCI’s in-house designed Business and Economy Class seats.

Business Class features:
Equipped with 16″ and 22″ multi-touch displays powered by 4K QD miniLED technology, Cornea delivers exceptional visuals with superior brightness, contrast, and color accuracy. The system features a 5″ multi-touch handset for full control, noise-canceling audio, dual USB-C ports for efficient charging, as well as wireless charging and Bluetooth connectivity.
Economy Class features
A 13″ multi-touch 4K QD miniLED display ensures the same high-quality visual experience for Economy Class passengers. The system includes a dual-pin audio jack for consistent sound quality and Bluetooth connectivity for seamless device pairing, offering a compact yet immersive entertainment experience.
In addition to its premium features, Cornea is built with upgradable system-wide storage capacity, providing optimal performance and data redundancy to ensure a smooth and reliable in-flight experience for all passengers.
